The St. Stephen’s Annual Christmas Concert with Festival Chorus and Orchestra.
You are cordially invited to our annual Christmas Concert at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove. We’d be thrilled to have you with us to celebrate the holiday season through the power of music!
We’ve brought together a fantastic lineup of soloists, chorus, and orchestra, complemented by the ethereal sounds of the harp and the grandeur of our historic pipe organ. This evening’s performance will be a testament to the enduring power of music to touch the heart and uplift the spirit.
Many of the songs you’ll hear have graced the halls of the great cathedrals of Europe, celebrating the arrival of Christmas with exquisite renditions of classic carols and sacred masterpieces, including excerpts from George Friderich Handel’s beloved Messiah.
This holiday season, we invite you to embark on a journey of musical enchantment, reflection, and celebration—right here in the heart of our vibrant Coconut Grove.

Homecoming Recital
In celebration of the completion of her master’s degree Rachel will present a 50 minute recital on the campus of Texas Woman’s University. It will consist of half musical theater and half operatic repertoire. In collaboration with Ted Powell. All are welcome.
Beethoven's 9th - Frost Symphony Orchestra and Frost Choral Ensembles

The FSO season finale presents a symphonic masterwork alongside four American orchestral miniatures by Augusta Reed Thomas, Bernard Rands, Daren Hagan, and Chen Yi. Beethoven’s ninth symphony closes the program featuring Frost choirs and full orchestra.

Master's Voice Recital
Rachel will give her Master’s Voice Recital this spring in collaboration with Jenny Snyder on piano and several instrumentalists from The Frost School of Music. It will feature works by Debussy, Rossini, Mozart, modern day composers and more. This recital is a major step in the completion of her Master’s of Music degree, and will take place on March 21st at 7:30pm in Newman Recital Hall.

Rose, Street Scene / Frost Opera Theater
This Spring, Rachel will appear in Frost Opera Theater’s main stage production as Rose from Kurt Weill’s Street Scene with the Frost Symphony Orchestra. Performances will be February 29th and March 2nd at 7:30pm in Gusman Concert Hall.

Love is in the Air: A Night of Musical Theater
Coconut Grove Music Series Presents Love is in the Air: A Night of Musical Theater. Come for an evening of your favorite musical theater songs all about love. Featuring composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rodgers and Hammerstein, George Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim and more. Performers: Xochitl Hernandez, Sofia Vidali, Taylor Wright, and Rachel Wresh.
Adele, Die Fledermaus / Music on Site Inc.
Rachel will be making her role debut as Adele in Die Fledermaus with Music on Site this December. This popular operetta, is being reimagined in the world of the wild west and you won’t want to miss Rachel revisiting her roots giving her best Southern belle impression. Performances will run from December 15-17th, more detailed information to come.
Night at the Next Whiskey Bar: A Modern Tapestry
An evening of timeless operatic solos and ensembles seamlessly woven into a moving modern tapestry of life. Rachel will perform in scene as Clizia from Handel’s Teseo with countertenor Victor Bento. Performances on November 15th and 16th at 7:30pm in Clarke Recital Hall.
